In this busy Easter week and forthcoming skiing in French Alps – I have to be calm and productive as much as I can. Hence, it is good to practice 4Q exercise. This is all about time management and I know that my 4Q will be valuable for you as well. Why? Because by thinking about how we use our time today, we can free up our hours in the future.
Q1: CAN I ELIMINATE THIS TASK?
1st: say NO to unnecessary duties. 2nd: do not worry about disappointing other people. Why? Read Q3.
Q2: IF I CAN’T ELIMINATE THIS TASK, CAN I AUTOMATE IT?
Come on – we are living in the XXI century! Have you known that you can save 30 minutes a month from paying your bills by setting up online payment?
Q3: CAN IT BE DELEGATED, OR CAN I TEACH SOMEONE ELSE HOW TO DO THIS?
This is a leadership skill and mindset. This is my favourite part of this exercise 😊
Q4: SHOULD I DO THIS TASK NOW, OR CAN I DO IT LATER?
Be careful! Procrastinating on purpose is about consciously deciding that we will do a certain thing later, not just waiting to do something that we know we should be doing now. It is a huge difference!
