Lesson no1 from Maria Slodowska-Curie to modern #WonderWomen

Maria Skłodowska-Curie didn’t become the most respected person in the world of science ‒ completely dominated by men at the time ‒ without A PLAN AND A STRONG WILL TO SUCCEED… and it is what we call today #MENTORING process.

In order to enrol at the Sorbonne, a prestigious university in Europe, Maria had to work for years as a governess. Then she worked 4 years for free, doing things a lab assistant would normally do, risking her health, and turning down comfortable academic offers just because she believed in a greater cause. It paid off – she received 2 NOBEL PRIZES, THE FIRST in HISTORY AWARDED TO A WOMEN.

Let us back to the modern world: a survey shows that 22% of women pointed a lack of confidence as one of the most significant challenges they faced when running their business. According to the WBC, it is definitely an issue of lacking #SelfConfidence rather than an actual lack of skills. Hence #MENTORING is a solution to grow with #success.
